About Foundational Reformer

The 15 to Fit MethodTM Foundational Reformer Plus program is the first step for you to learn how to teach not only Reformer, but Mat and some tower exercises as well.  This program will get you started with some basics that are safe and effective for new and experienced clients alike.   These hours can be applied to 15 to Fit Method’s full instructor program.  The observation and teaching hours can also be applied towards Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Certification. 

The 15 to Fit MethodTM consists of 15 minutes of Energy exercises, 15 minutes of Toning exercises and 15 minutes of Mobility,  add in a couple of  minutes for warm up and a couple of minutes for  cool down for a complete workout in a 50-minute session. This system helps you to organize the material in a manageable way

  • The Energy Segment is 15 minutes of whole body movement exercises that increase the heart rate and improve cardiorespiratory fitness.
  • The Tone Segment is 15 minutes of exercises to improve overall strength.
  • The Mobility Segment is 15 minutes of dynamic, multiplanar movements that safely increase mobility of the entire body.

The course requires you to do video and live observations, self-practice and practice teaching as well.  All of these are included as well as a final evaluation with feedback from a Master instructor.  

The course materials include:

  • One workout series for each segment.
  • Break down videos for all of the exercises included in each workout segment and the extra exercises.
  • Descriptive manuals with clear professional pictures for each exercise.

Included in your experience is:

  • Administrative privates to help get you set up and ready for success.
  • Training sessions with a Master Instructor to help you refine your teaching skills for each section. 
  • Equipment and Safety Evaluation with a Master Instructor to help make sure you are ready to teach the information on your own. 
  • Access to clients for practice teaching.
  • Final evaluation and feedback session with a master instructor.

I've trained athletes in the NBA, NFL and Indianapolis 500 Champion Eddie Cheever and even an entire Championship football team. I developed the 15 to Fit Method to help more people gain access to the amazing benefits of this innovative rotational, dynamic and three dimensional version of Pilates.
